Lost & Damned Trailer, GTA4 Game of the Year, Chinatown Wars Dated

At last night's SpikeTV Video Game Awards, GTA4
won Game of the Year, Best Action Game, and Best Performance by a Human Male (Michael Hollick as Nico Bellic). Also the
debut trailer of The Lost & Damned was revealed. Lastly, Chinatown Wars has been given a
release date of March 17 in the US and March 20 in Europe. Expect a fully featured preview from IGN in early January.

The Lost and Damned - the first downloadable episode for GTA4 - will be premiering during the 2008 SpikeTV Video Game Awards on December 14, 2008. GTA4 has been nominated for at least 9 awards including Game of the Year.

Rockstar Games announced the first episode of the GTA4 DLC today in a press release:
Rockstar Games is proud to announce that the eagerly anticipated first episode of downloadable content, Grand Theft Auto IV: The Lost and Damned, will be coming to the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system via Xbox LIVE® online entertainment network.
Available exclusively on Xbox LIVE worldwide on February 17th 2009, The Lost and Damned will feature all new content and is the first of two episodes announced for Grand Theft Auto IV on Xbox 360.
Promised in the first episode are:
- New main character and plot that intersects with the storyline of Grand Theft Auto IV
- New missions that offer an entirely fresh way to explore Liberty City
- New multiplayer modes, weapons and vehicles
- A diverse soundtrack with additional music
There are also new
screenshots of the PC version as well as information on the
video editor feature. The PC version of GTA4 is scheduled to be released December 2nd and 3rd in America and Europe.

This past Friday, Dan Houser said in an interview with
Variety that he's "not sure" if the downloadable content for GTAIV, which six months ago was thought to have been here by now, will even be released in 2008.

Variety: On another topic, I have to ask you about the "GTA IV" downloadable content you're doing. Do you still expect that to come out this year?
Dan Houser: I'm not sure. It's going well. But we don’t know a date. We hope to be announcing that in the next few weeks. We're still figuring out a few things. We're more focused on quality than dates, always have been. But the development is going really good. It's shaping up to be something we're very proud of. That was our goal

IGN had a chance recently to
preview the PC version of Grand Theft Auto IV which is scheduled for release on December 2. In their article they elaborated on the extra features and enhanced graphics. Here's a quick rundown of the main points:
:: Custom multiplayer match filtering to create or find the match that's just right for you
:: Built-in video editor - splice clips together, adjust camera angles, and add background music from the soundtrack
:: Better graphics, increased draw distance and minimized 'pop-in' effect
:: A slider to change traffic density
They also added a few
new screenshots to their gallery which showcase the graphical improvements.
San Andreas Coming to Xbox Live

GTA San Andreas will be available for purchase and download from Xbox Originals on Xbox Live on October 20 for 1200 Microsoft points ($15, £10).
